Mountain Biking Northwest Vietnam

The northwest loop is a very challenging route for cyclists seeking a biking challenge, enjoy climbing and mixing it up with some off road trails. A night-long train journey from Hanoi would take you to Lao Cai; start your scenic ride to the colorful ethnic market of Bac Ha. From there, you pedal to Sapa and explore its beautiful surroundings by bike. Venturing to the region less travelled part, you’ll get amazed at the diverse traditional costumes of some minority groups en route and also have a visit at the resounding Dien Bien Phu battlefield. Last but not least is the 3-day cycling to Mai Chau, the perfect place to relax before you head back to Hanoi.
