Your trip begins Hanoi , ends Saigon
Days 1 - 3 | Hanoi, Halong Bay
Hanoi is one of the most fascinating cities in Asia with its unique blend of oriental lifestyle gently mixed with western charm. We visit the historical sites of Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and museum, the ancient Temple of Literature and the Hanoi Hilton. Browsing through the old Quarter on a Traditional Cyclo and enjoy the famous water Puppets performance. In Halong Bay we cruise the azure waters among thousands of grand limestone rising like a dragon’s teeth before you.
Days 4 - 6 | Hue, Hoian
Charging the morning flight to Hue, Vietnam’s former imperial capital, we set out to explore the Citadel and Hue’s oldest Pagoda, Thien Mu. Cruising up the Perfume River we pass the grand fortress walls of the citadel and fell the local bustling life by the banks. We walk in beautiful gardens of the Imperial graves covered with deep pink lotus buds and mossy statues. Traveling south bound to Da Nang crossing the spectacular Hai Van Pass you have a magnificent view overlooking the fine coastline. On arrival we visit the amazing Cham Museum with its unique collection of Hindu style sculptures, to continue to the enchanted old trading port of Hoi An.
Days 7 - 9 | Saigon, Cu Chi
Ho Chi Minh City is still known as Saigon from its former heydays. We explore Saigon's grand colonial boulevards passing through famous sites such as the former Reunification Palace, The War Remnant Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, Chinatown and the buzzing Dong Khoi Street, proud displaying the French era. We journey out of Saigon to the remarkable Cu Chi tunnels dug by the Viet Cong during the war time. Crawling through a section of the elaborate underground tunnels is thrilling. We take in the last images of Vietnam by strolling the trendy Saigon boutiques and markets. |
