SA1D: (4 DAYS) Kampot, Cambodia: Bokor Mountain, Rabbit Island, Waterfalls, Plantations

☀️ Departing the evening before day one at 10.30PM, arriving back at 8PM Day 4. 

🎯 The provinces of Kampot and Kep, Bokor Mountain and Rabbit Island, Cambodia.

Itinerary:
🚍 The evening before - Sleeper Bus to Ha Tien City Border
⏰10:30 PM - Van pick up from District 1 and transfer to West Bus Station, where a comfortable sleeping bus awaits to take us to the Xa Xia border crossing.

🌄 Day 1 - Sunrise at Ha Tien City - Xa Xia Border - Kampot
⏰5 AM - Arrive at Ha Tien Bus Station. A van will take us to the Xa Xia border crossing. ⏰7 AM - Enjoy a delicious breakfast on the Cambodian side, currency exchange 💴 and buy a local SIM card if you wish.

🚸 Visa Information: Free visa for Vietnamese, passport is required. Other countries please check your visa requirements for Cambodia and your return Vietnam. Visa cannot be processed online, so a cash payment of 35$ is required at the Cambodia official border. Please ensure that your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your intended date of departure.

⏰8:30 AM - Beautiful Tuk-tuk ride to Bokor Mountain through rice paddies and various plantations.
⏰10 AM - Begin the 10km hike, stopping at a gorgeous waterfall for relaxation and lunch.
⏰2 PM - Finish the hike and head to Bokor Viewpoint. Explore an old temple and enjoy the serene surroundings for an hour.
⏰4:30 PM - Return to the city center for dinner and experience the charm of Kampot town at night.
⏰7 PM - Check-in to a cozy bungalow right by the riverside.

🌊 Day 2 - Kampot, Waterfall, and Tek Chou Stream
⏰8 AM - A delicious breakfast at the homestay followed by a tuk-tuk ride to the hiking point.
⏰9 AM - Start a 1-hour hike through a banana plantation to a beautiful waterfall. Enjoy jumping, relaxing, and swimming for about 3 hours.
⏰1 PM - Hike back and have lunch by Tek Chou stream, savoring special Cambodian cuisine.
⏰4 PM - Return to the bungalow, and at ⏰5 PM, kayak through the steams of Kampot (known as the green cathedral for the green tropical canopy that drapes over the streams) and into the river. This is followed by a BBQ party by the lake at sunset.

🏝️ Day 3 - Kampot, Kep Beach, and Rabbit Island
⏰8 AM - Breakfast at the bungalow. If interested, visit the pepper farm (an additional 10$ for 1 tuk-tuk).
⏰9 AM - Explore Kep Beach, visit Kep's famous crab market and then take a boat to tropical Rabbit Island.
⏰12 PM - Arrive at Rabbit Island for lunch and relaxation.
⏰6 PM - A delightful and festive dinner together.

🌊 Day 4 - Rabbit Island to Saigon
⏰8 AM - Breakfast at the homestay. Hike around the island and soak in the tranquil scenery.
⏰10 AM - Take a boat back to the mainland, and a tuk-tuk will transfer us to the border.
⏰2 PM - A quick lunch, and the bus will pick us up from the border to return to Saigon.⏰8 PM - Arrive back in Saigon, bringing wonderful memories from the unforgettable Kampot adventure.
(Timings are approximate and may differ by 30-60 minutes)

🧰 Belongings needed: Hiking shoes, mini raincoat, cap 🧢, swim suit. Other items could include (sun 👓, socks 🧦, gloves 🧤, extra clothes to change after hiking, a mini ☔️, mosquito repellent, flip flops🩴). A backpack 🎒 of 1.5 liters is recommended for snacks and water we'll provide for you.

💵 Cost: 5,800,000d (includes the sleeper bus, tuk-tuks, boat ticket to Rabbit Island, border fee, guide services, 3 breakfasts, 1 lunch, 1 dinner, drinks, fruits and 3 nights in two beautiful homestays).
🍲Not included are 1 breakfast, 3 lunches and 2 dinners. These can easily be purchased at restaurants in the local area at approximately 3-7$ per meal.
